End Violence Against Women

The number of women who have experienced violence is incomprehensible.  Each year the number of women that fall victim to violence grows and that is needless and unacceptable.  Most people know someone who has been a victim of violence whether they know it or not.  If you work in an office with 3-4 other women chances are one of you has been the victim of violence at one time or another.

Canadians recognize the need to make a change so on November 25, 2013, a white ribbon campaign will be started.  This important campaign attempts to raise awareness and education about violence against women and also all gender based violence.  By awareness and enlightenment we hope to honour women everywhere that have been victims of violence. It is our hope that through education we can end the spread of violence against women in Canada and throughout the world.

The white ribbon campaign will end on December 6 with a National Day of Remembrance & Action on Violence Against Women
Memorial & Candlelight Vigil
